You don’t have to burn down to ashes to be reborn, but it is clear that taking a few false steps allows you to stop, reflect and mark a new direction on the roadmap. DOSNOVENTA, the Barcelona brand that has been an icon of fixed-gear bikes since 2010, is changing course. A new journey to the roots of the original project: urban cycling. After adventures in cyclo-cross and road cycling, they are returning to the fixie set with more strength and determination than ever before
Some things never change, however, such as high-end assemblies with exclusive components and designs. That goes into the brand’s DNA. So does a radical and careful brand image and a lifestyle that is reflected in videos from around the world. Parties, criteriums, music, friends and beer have always combined perfectly with quality merchandising, excellent audiovisual productions and, of course, top-of-the-range bikes.
In this everchanging and peculiar 2020, DOSNOVENTA bets to return to the four basic frames that make up its corporate identity, always with Columbus tubing, giving maximum prominence to the colour black and minimalism. In terms of image, DOSNOVENTA has opted for a new simple but powerful design for its bicycles and components.
Simplicity is back. The BARCELONA frame is back, with steel tubing and the aesthetics of a classic bicycle. The action is back, with the DETROIT frame and its aggressive aluminium geometry. The Houston model is back, but this time it has been renamed LOS ANGELES, also in aluminium. And finally the TOKYO, the top of the range, is back in full carbon. All the frames are available in black and an additional colour depending on the model. All of these frames are now available at Santafixie.
