Our friends at One Life Cycle have published a new video of the 2nd edition of the Off The Streets event, which took place past November. The event, held at the Revolution Karting circuit, is made up of two kinds of races – fixie and wheelie ones. Fixie races are elimination races held on fixie bikes, and wheelie ones are a little crazier, consisting of doing wheelies once and again along the circuit.

This second edition of Off The Streets was marked by a friendly environment and a solidarity spirit. The event’s main aim is to take youngsters who are jobless or lack an education from the streets, to give them motivation and something to chase in order to keep away from drugs and harmful environments.

For next year, five more races are already planned, only in London, with some more yet to be confirmed around UK. At Santafixie, we like to support the fixie scene in every city. That’s why we will also be sponsoring Off The Streets next year. Stay tuned, we have some surprises.

  • Epic! Brings a tear to my eye (bad back means I can rarely ride).

Having 2 wheels is a mindset, even when you can’t ride, that never changes. Peace.
