This re-edition wants to be a tribute to Editorial Miñon's work in 1988. Their great proposal of mixing two great talents, one from the world of lettters and the other one from the illustration field, showed a link between them: the bicycle. The result is a perfect mix of pictures and words, words and pictures, that transfers us to other times, other ages and other adventures... adventures that we also lived at some point in our lives.
It's a pleasant little book, very charming, that you will enjoy with the five senses, or the six, as they say, because there's a lot of sense of humour on it. Miguel Delibes simplicity and closeness, a house seal when writing stories makes us feel that he's near us, smiling at the same time as we do.
Delibes prose is shown on the simple strokes of Luis de Horna drawings, creating a whole very natural, achieving an almost perfect harmony.
With this book starts the collection Re-ciclados, that wants to rescue from oblivion some titles that every bicycle lover has to have in his shelf.
