Hiplok Lite Lock - Black

The Hiplok Lite Lock in black is the perfect solution for cyclists who want a lightweight and easy-to-use lock that provides maximum security. The lock features a 6mm hardened steel chain that is covered by a removable 600d outer sleeve with reflective tab detail. This makes it easy to see in low light conditions and also protects your bike from scratches and damage.

The lock also features an 8mm hardened steel shackle and a steel lock body with brass mechanism, ensuring that it is virtually impossible to break or cut. The impact-resistant, super tough nylon case adds an extra layer of protection, making it ideal for use in all weather conditions.

The Hiplok Lite Lock comes with three keys, so you can keep one at home and one in your bag or pocket. The locking circumference is 75cm, making it suitable for use with most bikes. At just 1kg in weight, it is easy to carry around with you wherever you go.

Two British Industrial Designers, John Abrahams and Ben Smith, living miles apart in London and Los Angeles respectively, both had the same issue - how to carry a secure bike lock without taking a cumbersome bag or needing to attach it to their bike or themselves in a damaging or unstable way.

They worked together on a solution, taking inspiration from bicycle couriers, and tested their wearable bike lock from the Californian canyons to the streets of London. The result was a unique product that bridges the gap between security, portability and versatility - the Hiplok™.
