Getting started guide
INCLUDES: Assembly tools and 10ml Nzero liquid chain lubricant.
Same frameset, same components, same features but with a electric rear hub.
The Santafixie E-Raval electric bike incorporates the only electric system that doesn’t need to be charged, as its power comes from an energy-recovery system that works when the wheel turns riding down a slope, or with a freewheel. This allows for an optimization of the cyclist’s energy while they ride, reducing the pedaling power that needs be applied up to 40%. When fully charged, it allows to ride with electric assistance for over 30 Km. But if you do not have time to recharge the battery while riding, it is simply recharged using a traditional charger.
The rear electric Zehus Bike All in One hub features a 250W motor, batteries, electronic components and an innovative 4-sensor system, all in one component. It’s cordless, discreet, light (only 3 Kg) and elegant.
It features several modalities, manageable from your smartphone. 1) No assistance, 2) Eco, 3) Turbo and 4) Custom (which allows you to set your own mode. The electric assistance offers an autonomy of 35–45 Km in Turbo mode, and up to 60 Km in Eco mode.
The motor is controlled without the need for wires or controllers, through a phone app and a Bluetooth connection. Moreover, the app allows to block the handlebars so that it’s impossible to use it in case it gets stolen.
The Santafixie E-Raval model is very light, weighing only 12.5 Kg. Its frame and fork are made with 6061 aluminium, a tough and strong variety. We propose a 44t chainring and a 16t sprocket, so that it’s easy and quick to move around on it. You can also choose amongst four different handlebar styles: riser, drop, bullhorn and flat bars.
Santafixie conjugates passion and effort, bikes and cities. We’re the children of an ever-changing culture – metropolitan and frenetic. We move as nomads amongst this stream, until we become explorers of the urban world. We’re fans of cities – we move in a fast and safe way and meanwhile we observe, find and explore our environment.
Bikes are the amulets that are always at our side – they’re our compasses, our horses, our companions. They’re the ideal vehicle for those who believe in the future, in cities and the power of people.
This combination – bikes and cities – was what firstly inspired Santafixie.com. We’ve been selling different models and a lot of accessories over 6 years now, which has let us meet, talk and share our experiences with city and bike enthusiasts. Contemporary explorers from over 30 countries, that made us realize that it’s time to keep growing and do our bit to build our ideal tomorrow – more bikes inside cities in order to create a better world.
This bicycle comes in a well protected box, about 80% assembled. The most complicated is already mounted from the factory and the rest is quite easy to do. You will have to place the front wheel, the pedals, the saddle and adjust the handlebar.
At the top you will see a video where one of our mechanics explains in a few simple steps how to correctly assemble this. If you do not feel confident to finish the assembly, we recommend you take the bicycle to a nearby bicycle store/workshop for a specialist to complete the bicycle build.
